7th Annual eCrime Congress

2009-03-24

Outpost24 will be hosting an educational seminar at this year's 7th Annual eCrime Congress in London. The theme for this educational workshop is best practices in vulnerability management, starting off with a look at the growing underground economy and revealing some information about industrial espionage, credit card fraud, cyber warfare and what it's costing organizations all over the world.

This workshop will introduce different methods of vulnerability management being used today and will touch on topics such as automated scanning tools, penetration testing and comparisons between the different methods available. This educational workshop will provide insight for any organization looking to find creative and cost effective methods of protecting its valuable assets through a proactive approach to security.

Today IT security is a multi-faceted issue and needs to be addressed as such. There is no one product or solution that will make an organization's IT network safe. Organizations of all industries need to ensure they are not vulnerable to attack by cyber criminals.

This seminar will discuss the ways in which organizations are currently approaching their IT security and will go on to introduce a multitude of ways in which an organization can set forth processes and methods through the use of various tools and roles of people within an organization to effectively manage risk on a continuous basis.
