Sr. Software Developer

About you:

You have implemented TCP, UDP, and ICMP for fun before you ever did it for work. You have been writing software in C on Linux for projects with over one million lines of code and enjoyed it. You like to design your own programming languages and can discuss the strengths and weaknesses of all the popular ones, including LISP . You have reverse engineered protocols using nothing but tcpdump and basic Linux tools.

You can work in a team but tend to take the lead on projects you are interested in. You don't always need to write a new program from scratch – you're experienced enough to read code and improve upon existing designs incrementally.

You are drawn to the best and tend to be recognized often as the most knowledgeable among your peers.

Required skills:

• Mastery of C for Linux
• Implementation level knowledge of TCP, UDP, and ICMP
• Custom programming language design and maintenance skills.
• Protocol Reverse Engineering
• Packet Analysis

Recommended Skills:

• Experience with SQL, CVS, SVN, Bison, Flex
• Deep knowledge of HTTP and Web technologies like: PHP, ASP.NET, JAVA, JavaScript, XML, DOM

Subject Area Knowledge of the follow is a plus:

• SCAP
• PCI Data Security Standard
